and recorded by Hank Williams.

How many times have you done something slightly wrong and wished to heaven that you could go back in time and just fix it so's it was right? One afternoon all the stars seemed to line up and I found my self surrounded by talented musicians and a microphone recording me. I set out to record one of my favorite Hank Williams numbers called 'Setting The Woods On Fire' and right off the bat I completely mauled the first verse. That wouldn't be so bad if it hadn't been for the fact that everything else went unbelievably swell. It was exactly what I wanted and I ruined it. Well what are you supposed to do in a situation like that? I kept the recording because it demonstrates the good things that can happen when friends join forces and talents. If there is a fault in this cover it is definitely mine but you can't fault the fiddle playing of my friend Debbie Polaquin and the guitar picking of her husband Ben. Try to overlook my original mistake and maybe you can see that Hank Williams numbers do lend themselves well to a more rocky style.
