Original Artist: Garth Brooks

This song touched me for three reasons. One, because the lyrics were extremely well written with a very clever hook line. Two, because it has a unique tune that catches...

Original Artist: Lefty Frizzell

When ever I want to impress my old bluegrass friends I break out this old standard. I soup it up and play along the sorrow side. I love this song. Perhaps my cover leaves a little to be desired but if you don't love the original version then you'd better get down to emergency quick...

As a Canadian watching from the north side of the Canada-U.S. border I feel deeply saddened as I watch America fallin quickly appart right before my eyes.

My people, like so many other Canadians, have strong family links that stretch accross the the borders that defines Canada and the U.S. While I am Canadian, and, PROUD OF THIS, I can see how much we as two nations share in common. I'm not talking about radio...

Hank Williams was well known for his honkytonk music but he recorded a lot of excellent gospel music as well. The recording studios, however, feared that his gospel songs might turn off some of his huge fan base and refused to let him record them under his own name. Why Don't You Tell Me So' is my cover of a classic bluegrass number, performed originaly by the musical legends Lester Flatt & Earl Scruggs. In an effort to learn to sing harmony, this was one of the first bluegrass songs I recorded on my now, somwhat obsolete mult-track software.

Please exscuse the amature recording quality.
