No collection of ballads could be complete without Tony Arata's "The Dance". It is fact that our lives are built upon of a series of actions, each leading us off unto different side roads. A promising life can spin out of control so quickly, only to be wrestled under control once more. Still, without these painful experiences in life would it be truly possible to appreciate the sweet moments? If we never had all the awful events in our lives how would we know how truly grateful we ought to be when life is good? That is what the Dance is about. In the end we are just better off taking the good with the bad as a total sum, and hop that it all adds up to a positive experience in the end. Garth Brooks knocked all the other artists off the charts with his recording of 'The Dance". My cover can not compare but it was a fun song to record just the same.
