Now I'm one guy who believes that anyone can learn to play an instrument or sing if they realy want to and I always try to encourage student musicians because that gives me one more musician in the future that...

May You Never Be Alone Like Me.

I was down at the anual Westman Jams Grand Valley Jam in Brandon a couple of summers back, where I got a request to play the Dirty Bird song. I was both confused and shocked, first because I had no idea what this song was and second because it sounded like a very rude song I would never bother to learn.
A little claification, however, revealed that this fellow was asking for the Tennisee Bird Walk. I was amazed that he even knew I did this tune, as I rarely do but he must have heard...

Urban Heath (A.K.A. Nick) Is my uncle and role modle. A simple man who lived a simple and difficult life was one of the youngest from a family of eight kids. Most of the boys in the family took up learning one or more instruments in order to entertain them selfs in a time when money was short and resources few. All these boys were self taught. None could read a lick of music....
