Leanning On The Ever Lasting Arms

While cruising Youtube I came across a wonderfull version of this old gospel number by the Grasscals that I enjoyed so much that I just couldn't get it out of my head. I had to record it myself. So here is 'Leaning On The Everlasting Arms'.

A very nice Gosphel number I thought was wounderful for harmony in. Recorded it quick a dirty with 4 tracks. Came out O.K. I guess.

One of the hardest things I've had to do musicaly in recent years was to learn to turn the clock back and play a simplified style of bare bone chording. I did this when a fellow I met at a jam professed to me that he had started learn to play guitar but just couldn't do it.

Now I'm one guy who believes that anyone can learn to play an instrument or sing if they realy want to and I always try to encourage student musicians because that gives me one more musician in the future that...

May You Never Be Alone Like Me.

Some years back I was at an auction sale in Melita, Manitoba when I came across an old AutoHarp. It had a few boken strings, a seam that had come unglued and all the buttons had been removed from the key shafts. Otherwise however it appeared completely intact.
I knew at first sight that I had to buy it. know nothing about AutoHarps but I love old fashioned instruments and I saw this as a piece of Americana. I purchased it for twenty bucks and got it repaired for $60.00. THe strings...
